Lord Ilendhir Just the kind if black-metal i like.
”Gates of Mourning” is probably the best U.S black-metal i’ve heard this far.
Blazing fast drums and an enormous portion of energi across the instruments including the vocals.
The mixing is perfect and i particulary like how the kickdrum have such a deep pound to it.
Love all of the songs but i have 2 favorites.
Vörös and A Candlelit Admonition. Favorite track: Vörös.

The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.
